Senior Development Manager: Futureskills Scotland

Based at Cowan House, Inverness. Salary £28,636.

Futureskills Scotland was established by the Scottish Executive in 2001 to address the need for high quality useable labour market information to support policy development.

You will plan, undertake and disseminate research which will provide policy advice to underpin the work of HIE’s developing skills group, local enterprise companies - and rural Scotland generally.

This will involve identifying and explaining the policy implications from this research and participating in national discussions.

You will bring a degree, or equivalent, in social policy, economics or other relevant discipline along with strong project management skills. Experience in a research environment and of economic and data analysis is key, coupled with a background in a labour market, learning or skills setting.
