Enterprising Scotland – Scotland’s First Major Conference on Enterprise - - 25th February 2008

This conference, organised by Holyrood Events is Scotland’s First Major Conference on Enterprise. The focus will be on how the new economic development framework and the enterprise agencies will help create a more successful, wealthier Scotland. The conference will be addressed by a number of prestigious speakers including:

Jim Mather MSP, Minister for Energy, Enterprise and Tourism, setting out Scotland’s vision for enterprise;

Sir Tom Farmer CBE, providing a leading entrepreneur’s perspective;

Jack Perry, Chief Executive, Scottish Enterprise, on the new framework for enterprise; and

Patrick Watt, Head of Futureskills Scotland, outlining the skills needed to succeed.
