How Scotland Compares

Benchmarking Scotland’s labour market performance is a vital component in our efforts to derive the best possible performance for the country.  By monitoring a range of areas, such as educational attainment and income across selected European regions, Member states of the European Union (EU) and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) it is possible to measure the relative progress of the Scottish economy against our nearest competitors.

Futureskills Scotland monitors data covering a diverse range of subjects, allowing for detailed comparisons and analysis.  Our recently published International Comparisons report provides a detailed overview of Scotland's position relative to our key international competitors.
