Scottish Sector Profile 2007: Asset Skills

This profile is part of a series of sector profiles for Scotland. The profiles have been produced jointly with the relevant sector skills council or body, using all available data sources. The main focus of each report is on how an individual sector's labour market profile compares against other sectors. Each report covers the structure of the industry (full/part-time working, occupations, wages, age structure), recruitment and vacancies, skill shortages, skill gaps and training and development. The principal data source is the Scottish Employers Skill Survey 2006. Other data in this profile has been taken from official sources and all sources are footnoted.
